Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading and developing engineering teams in high-growth technology environments.
• Strong technical background in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or Information Security.
• Proven track record of building, scaling, and improving engineering teams, processes, and operational excellence.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational priorities.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud-native architectures, infrastructure automation, observability, and security best practices.
• Experience driving reliability, availability, and security improvements in production environments at scale.
• Ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Fluent in English.
• Nice to have: Experience leading teams across Platform Engineering, Internal IT, and Information Security functions.
• Nice to have: ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR-related initiatives experience.
• Nice to have: experience supporting globally distributed engineering organisations.
• Nice to have: prior work in a high-growth B2B SaaS, marketplace, or travel tech company.

Responsibilities

• You'll lead the teams that keep Distribusion running securely, reliably, and at scale.
• From cloud infrastructure and developer tooling to internal IT and information security, you'll be responsible for the platforms and processes that enable our teams to move fast with confidence.
• You'll grow and support a team spanning Platform Engineering, IT, and Security, helping define strategy, drive execution, and raise the bar for operational excellence across the company.
• Vendor management including negotiating conditions and overseeing detailed infrastructure and project cost tracking.
• Your work will directly impact the productivity of our engineers, the resilience of our systems, and the security of our business as we continue to scale globally.
