Job summary

Nscale is seeking an Infrastructure Support Operations Operator to manage day-to-day data centre infrastructure, respond to incidents, and ensure reliability. The role includes mentoring junior staff, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to process improvements.

This hands-on operator position requires strong troubleshooting and teamwork, with on-call rotation and travel to other Nscale data centres as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data centre operations or similar.
• Strong understanding of data centre operations, server hardware, and networking.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
• Experience working within SLAs and service management processes.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the data centre infrastructure.
• Monitor SLAs and ensure reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking issues.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior operators and coordinate with vendors.
• Create and maintain runbooks and documentation.
