Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Mainframe and Mid-Range Compute Site Reliability and Engineering team. You will drive end-to-end infrastructure delivery, while applying AI-assisted methods for analysis, validation, and documentation.

You will lead 24x7 SRE operations, coordinate incident resolution, and work with stakeholders across the organization to improve resiliency, security, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering concepts and IBM z-Series operations.
• Leadership of Operational and SRE teams in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams delivering end-to-end infrastructure or service delivery for business operations.
• Enforce policies to ensure operational stability and availability.
• Monitor production environments and evolve observability practices.
• Escalate issues and communicate solutions to stakeholders during incidents.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management for full stack systems.
• Host bridge calls and communicate with large groups effectively.
• Administer and troubleshoot Mainframe components.
