Job summary

ED Wallach Search Group is seeking a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy, and operate the systems that support mission-focused software in production. You’ll own the path from development to deployment, ensuring environments are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable.

You’ll work hands-on across Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and system integrations, partnering with researchers, software engineers, and end users in secure, operationally

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
3+ years of professional experience.
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
Strong understanding of software deployment lifecycles across cloud and on-premises environments.
Software development experience with Java, Rust, TypeScript/React, or similar technologies.
Strong software engineering and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD and release pipelines for cloud, on-premises, and deployed environments.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
Monitor production systems and lead incident response to maintain high availability.
Improve system reliability, observability, and operational processes.
Integrate applications and infrastructure with external systems and services.
Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and end users to deliver reliable operational solutions.
