Job summary

ED Wallach Search Group is seeking a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy, and operate the systems that support mission-focused software in production. You’ll own the path from development to deployment, ensuring environments are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of software deployment lifecycles across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Software development experience with Java, Rust, TypeScript/React, or similar technologies.
• Strong software engineering and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship required.

We’re looking for a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy, and operate the systems that support mission-focused software in production.

You’ll help improve the path from development to deployment, while ensuring operational environments are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable. This role offers hands‑on ownership across Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and system integrations.

The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure and software engineering skills with the ability to solve problems in secure, operationally constrained environments.
