Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III within the Payments Technology Strategic Initiative Office. The role focuses on infrastructure engineering across AWS and on-prem environments, with a strong emphasis on FinOps, AI-assisted monitoring, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

3+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
Formal training or certification in infrastructure concepts.
Experience with Terraform and IaC.
Experience across cloud and on‑prem environments and data platforms.
Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations before implementation.

Responsibilities

Manage FinOps backlog for Payments with AWS-first mandate and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
Maintain end-to-end monitoring of applications and capacity.
Apply AI-assisted capabilities to monitoring and capacity analysis with proper validation.
Drive capacity remediation workflows with security and resiliency in mind.
Make significant decisions for multi-technology projects.
