Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer III to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will contribute as a seasoned member of an agile team across Terraform, Golang, and AWS, building automation for infrastructure provisioning and platform APIs.

The role focuses on scalable cloud-native solutions, IaC, and integration with CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring security, reliability, and interoperability across multiple AWS accounts.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Implements scalable cloud native software solutions for highly available, performant, and resilient products.
• Develops reusable Terraform templates and modules to abstract AWS complexity for provisioning across accounts.
• Designs and implements infrastructure-as-code solutions ensuring consistency, security, and compliance across environments.
• Troubleshoots complex infrastructure deployment issues and optimizes Terraform configurations for performance and reliability.
• Creates automation workflows that validate and deploy Terraform templates through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborates with application teams to translate infrastructure needs into standardized Terraform modules.
• Builds and maintains Golang-based APIs and microservices powering platform automation capabilities.
• Develops event-driven systems to orchestrate infrastructure provisioning and respond to platform events.
• Designs and implements RESTful APIs enabling programmatic infrastructure requests.
• Creates asynchronous workflows for complex infra operations across distributed systems.
