Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer for Infotainment development on Android/Linux platforms. You will work on message communications with Meter and HUD, support variants, and execute test cases from requirements.

You will model test coverage, perform bench and vehicle debugging, and collaborate with customers, peers, leads and remote teams. Strong knowledge of CAN and Ethernet, Android, Linux, and Agile Scrum is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BE in Computer Science/Engineering; MS preferred.
• Experience in software development and verification in Vehicle Infotainment.
• Ability to translate requirements into algorithms and test cases.
• Development experience on system/functions or component testing (Blackbox/Whitebox).
• Android & HMI development for Vehicle Infotainment; hardware bench setup.
• Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet, drivers, and simulators.
• Strong written and verbal communication; Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infotainment modules for Android/Linux.
• Modify messages to communicate with Meter and HUD.
• Support current and new Variants.
• Execute test cases and scripts from requirements.
• Ensure complete requirement and test coverage mapping.
• Bench/vehicle debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze root causes and report issues clearly.
• Collaborate with customers, peers, leads and remote teams.
• Groom and support team members; deliver on time.
