Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Software Validation Engineer for Infotainment projects in the US. You will design and execute test strategies, build cases from requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across modules.

With 2–3 years in software verification, you will apply blackbox testing, automation, and domain testing in vehicle infotainment, CAN/MOST knowledge, and agile SCRUM practices to reproduce issues and drive fixes.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or Engineering; MS preferred.
2–3 years’ experience in software verification and validation.
Preferably in Vehicle Infotainment domains.
Experience translating requirements into test cases.
Experience in system/functional testing and verification strategy.
Experience in Blackbox Testing.
CAN/MOST experience preferred.
Ability to perform hardware bench setup.
Strong written and verbal communication; agile experience.

Responsibilities

Software validation and verification activities for Infotainment projects and modules.
Generate test cases and test scripts from requirements and map coverage.
Automate and execute test scenarios using available automation tool.
Perform domain, integration, stability, performance and regression testing.
Bench / vehicle testing and troubleshooting.
Issue reproduction and verification of resolved and fixed issues.
Test case maintenance, manual and automated.
Identify and classify issues with log collection.
Report issues in issue tracking system.
Generate test execution reports with logs and steps to reproduce.
Document and communicate test results.
Work with peers, leads and remote teams to ensure successful test execution.
