Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer, Information Security for a 3-month assignment in a hybrid Newark, NJ setting. You will develop and maintain security documentation across standards, engineering, and operations teams.

Work with subject matter experts to translate complex technical requirements into clear, structured documentation, organize repositories, and improve onboarding and knowledge transfer across a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Experience writing technical and procedural documentation in information security, engineering, infrastructure, or other technical environment.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear documentation for technical and operational audiences.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and experience with shared documentation platforms and structured content management.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and editing procedures, revising engineering documentation, standardizing content formats, identifying documentation gaps, and helping build a more accessible repository of reference materials for new team members.
• Reduce reliance on individual team members for repeated knowledge transfer and improve consistency in how documentation is created and maintained.
