Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to lead cybersecurity governance for DoD-enabled systems supporting SOCOM. You’ll drive RMF processes, oversee SSPs and incident plans, and direct ISSOs and security staff across partners. Strong leadership and DoD experience are essential.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, and offers exposure to high‑tempo missions across complex environments with opportunity for strategic impact.

Qualifications

5+ years relevant experience with a related degree; or 9+ years with HS diploma.
Experience with RMF-based system accreditation.
Strong knowledge of NIST controls, DISA STIGs and DoD guidance.
Experience leading cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee RMF activities from system categorization through continuous monitoring and re-accreditation.
Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, incident response plans, audit documentation, and artifacts.
Supervise ISSOs and coordinate system security tasks across admins, engineers, and mission partners.
Establish cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices for secure operations.
Provide senior-level guidance during design, integration, modernization, and transition into operations.
Lead vulnerability management, incident response coordination, and remediation planning.
Prepare systems for CCRIs and SOCOM security audits.
Serve as principal cybersecurity liaison to SOCOM leadership and external assessors.
