Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to perform vulnerability scanning, analyze results, and work with framework teams to mitigate risk and strengthen security posture. This role requires office presence in Columbia, MD, with TS/SCI clearance and DoD RMF experience.

Responsibilities include configuring Tenable.sc/Nessus, STIG compliance, and supporting audits. Strong collaboration, communication, and rapid remediation abilities are essential for success

Qualifications

• Experience as an ISSE on programs/contracts of similar scope for the Federal Government.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Or an Associate’s degree with Security+ and two years IT security experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain vulnerability scanning tools to identify threats.
• Analyze scan results and coordinate remediation with system administrators and ISSEs.
• Support RMF activities and develop or refine scanning policies and SOPs.
• Assist in audits and provide detailed vulnerability data and STIG compliance documentation.
• Develop dashboards/reports to visualize system risk posture and remediation progress.
