Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to perform vulnerability scans, analyze results, and collaborate with framework teams to manage cyber risk. The role includes RMF activities, STIG compliance, and remediation coordination with system admins and ISSEs.

Office presence is required in Columbia, MD, TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required, and DoD security standards guidance will drive daily tasks and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as an ISSE on federal government programs.
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs and RMF processes (NIST 800-53).
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II or IASAE level certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate vulnerability scanners (Tenable.sc, Nessus).
• Analyze scan results and coordinate remediation with admins/ISSEs.
• Support RMF activities and provide technical input for controls.
• Develop or refine scanning policies, baselines, and SOPs.
