Job summary

Manning Kass seeks an experienced Information Technology Trainer to educate users on the firm’s applications and systems. The trainer will drive adoption, efficiency, and productivity by delivering clear, engaging instruction and by building sustainable training resources.

Responsibilities include training delivery, development of courses and videos, onboarding new hires, and collaboration with IT to address issues and identify best practices. This hybrid role requires travel for trainings.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to convey technical material clearly for non-technical users.
• Proven experience delivering technical training.
• Experience producing training materials including videos.
• Willingness to travel for trainings and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the firm’s applications and systems.
• Deliver one-on-one and group training sessions.
• Develop proactive user-centric courses, materials, presentations, and videos for both basic and advanced instruction.
• Identify efficient methods and best practices for completing tasks using firm applications and systems.
• Partner with the IT Administration team to evaluate new applications, features, and systems.
• Conduct new hire technology orientations.
• Stay current on software updates and upgrades and translate changes into accessible training.
• Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot user issues and reinforce solutions through training.
• Assess user needs and align them with the capabilities of firm applications and systems.
• Maintain comprehensive records of training activities and user feedback.
• Establish and maintain a centralized user training platform.

• Self-motivated, with a creative approach to problem-solving and instructional design.
• Technical and creative skills to develop engaging training materials.
• Willingness to travel for trainings and conferences.
• IT-related degree and/or relevant certifications.
• Proven experience delivering technical training.
• Experience producing training materials, including presentations and videos.
• NetDocuments training experience is a plus.
• Prior law firm experience is a plus.
