Job summary

Bookman Consulting, a large Professional Services Firm in the Las Vegas area, is seeking an IT Technician to join our on-site IT team. The successful candidate will support end users, manage accounts, and help secure the network while delivering reliable, friendly service.

The position requires living in the Vegas area, being comfortable on-site, and being available for after-hours on-call. Salary is projected at $55k–$60k with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Experience training staff on applications, IT systems, and security.
• Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and storage.
• Strong Active Directory domain management and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying and monitoring endpoint security solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot end-user incidents across software, hardware, and connectivity.
• Willingness to be on-site in Las Vegas; on-call after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Train new staff on all applications, IT systems and security.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations.
• Active Directory domain management and troubleshooting.
• Deploy/monitor endpoint security solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents for end-user applications (software, hardware, network, printers, etc.).
• Provide after-hours and weekend on-call support.

Our client is a large Professional Services Firm in the Las Vegas Area that is looking to hire a talented IT Technician. They have an excellent culture and do a great job at retaining their staff long-term. This person MUST live in the Vegas area and be willing to be on site!!

• Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations
• Active directory domain management and troubleshooting
• Deploy/monitor endpoint security solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve simple to complex incidents associated with end user applications, including but not limited to software, hardware, desktop computing, mobile technologies, password assistance, internet, network & remote connectivity, telecom & printer related incidents
• Available on-call to support the business after hours and on weekends
• Salary likely to be $55k-$60k base + benefits, PTO, etc
