Job summary

Prospect Infosystem Inc. in the United States is seeking an IT-support specialist to help resolve issues, manage user devices, and ensure connectivity across Windows and macOS environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software on macOS and Windows.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
• Familiar with SSO/identity platforms (JumpCloud, Okta, Entra ID) and endpoint security tooling.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS) for connectivity triage.
• Strong grasp of security best practices: patching, least privilege, MFA, data protection.
• Excellent customer-service orientation; explains tech in plain language.
• Organized and self-directed; maintains tickets, documentation, and follow-through.
• Vocational IT training or degree in IT/CS is a plus, not required.

Job description

• Prior experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration
• Confident troubleshooting hardware and software across macOS and Windows
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with SSO/identity platforms (JumpCloud, Okta, Entra ID) and endpoint-security tooling (CrowdStrike or similar) — or the ability to ramp up quickly
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS) for connectivity triage
• Solid grasp of security best practices: patching, least privilege, MFA, data protection
• Strong customer-service orientation — you explain technical issues in plain language
• Organized and self-directed: tickets, documentation, and follow-through don't slip
• Vocational training or a degree in IT/Computer Science is a plus, not a requirement
