Job summary

Korpack, a food-grade co-packer with two Chicago-area facilities, seeks a hands-on IT Support Specialist to keep operations running on the floor. You’ll troubleshoot printers, Wi‑Fi, and label systems while supporting onboarding, AD, and M365 access.

You’ll work across two sites, own tasks end-to-end, and help maintain a fast, secure IT environment that supports production, warehouse workflows, and enterprise systems like Acumatica and mobile device management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT support or helpdesk experience, ideally in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution.
• Strong hardware, printer, and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• A self-starter who is organized, documents their work, and can own tasks independently.
• Comfortable on warehouse floors and moving between two locations.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Floor Running by supporting Zebra printers, Acumatica MFG labels, COLOS, and warehouse networks.
• Own Access from onboarding to offboarding—laptops, VPN, AD, and Acumatica users; manage temporary users.
• Run Mobile Devices management with SOTI MDM—deployment, licensing, profiles, troubleshooting.
• Make Acumatica Work Harder—build dashboards, generic inquiries, and business events; resolve access issues.
• Manage the Hardware Lifecycle—tagging, inventory, ordering, IT closets, and displays.
• Be the Helpdesk—provide day-to-day support for all teams in the building.

Job description

At Korpack, when a label printer goes down, a production line stops. We're a food-grade, SQF-certified co-packer running production lines and warehouses across two Chicago-area facilities, and the systems behind them have to work every shift. We're looking for a hands-on IT Support Specialist who would rather be on the floor fixing something than waiting on a ticket queue.

The Journey

• Keep the Floor Running. Support Zebra label printers and Acumatica MFG labels, the COLOS labeling and OEE systems, warehouse Wi-Fi and the work-order automation. Coordinate with vendors and ISPs when needed.
• Own Access, Start to Finish. Run onboarding and offboarding, including laptops, VPN, Active Directory and Acumatica users. Manage temporary users in SOTI and Alta Open, plus access removal and mailbox delegation.
• Run Mobile Devices. Administer SOTI MDM, including deployment, licensing, profiles and troubleshooting.
• Make Acumatica Work Harder. Build dashboards, generic inquiries and business events, and resolve access issues.
• Manage the Hardware Lifecycle. Handle asset tagging, laptop tiers, ordering, the IT closets, recycling, and conference room tablets and displays.
• Be the Helpdesk. Provide day-to-day support for every team in the building.

What Success Looks Like

• Production never waits on a printer, scanner or Wi-Fi dead spot.
• New hires are fully set up on day one, and access is removed the day someone leaves.
• Every device is tagged, tracked and accounted for.

Requirements

• 2+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience, ideally in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution.
• Strong hardware, printer, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• A self-starter who is organized, documents their work, and can own tasks independently.
• Comfortable on warehouse floors and moving between our two locations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Acumatica or another ERP system.
• Experience with SOTI or another MDM platform.
• Experience with Zebra printers and COLOS.
• Basic scripting skills, such as Excel macros/VBA, PowerShell, or simple web code.
• A CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
