Position: IT Manager – End User Support & IT Operations

Employment Type: Long-Term Contract

Rate: $ 45 - 50/hr

We’re a fast-paced startup looking for a proactive, hands-on IT Manager to own our end-user support and daily IT operations. In this role, you’ll be the first line of support for employees and leadership, ensuring all tech-related needs are met—from resolving helpdesk tickets to managing AV/Zoom setups and maintaining internal IT workflows. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an IT generalist, support lead, or IT manager role—preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows, MacOS, mobile device support, and cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  • Proficiency with Zoom, AV troubleshooting, and collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk) and service documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer-first approach.
  • Must be onsite daily in San Francisco (this is not a remote position).
