$100,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

The Role

They are looking for a sharp, resourceful, and proactive Senior Desktop Engineer to join our growing technical operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely desktop, application, and infrastructure support to traders, developers, and business staff.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Maintain, monitor, and support internal tools, workstations, and server infrastructure.
• Assist in the onboarding/offboarding process, including provisioning hardware, user accounts, and access control.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to implement IT best practices and automation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent technical issues as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or desktop engineering role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, hardware, and networking.
• Familiarity with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation practices.
• Working knowledge of scripting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting low-latency trading environments.
• Knowledge of market data systems and trading software.
• Exposure to cybersecurity practices and compliance in financial services.
