Under the general direction of the IT Manager I, The Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) serves as the Department’s Lead Technical Specialist for enterprise digital platforms, including the public website, intranet, online community platforms, and constituent engagement technologies. The incumbent operates under the technical direction of Information Technology management in accordance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity standards, and departmental technology governance. The ITS II maintains expertise in various hardware, software, services, and various programming languages including but not limited to; C#, JavaScript, .NET, VB.Net, SharePoint Online, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, CSS, SharePoint, YAML, Microsoft SQL Server, and a variety of web development and GIS tools. Provides advanced technical expertise in the planning, implementation, administration, support, modernization, and continuous improvement of the Department’s enterprise digital platforms while ensuring alignment with department technology governance, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity requirements, accessibility standards, and statewide technology policies.
