Job description

IT Service Specialist — Executive & AV Support (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Clayton (St. Louis), MO — onsite 5 days/week

Duration: 6-month contract, with potential conversion to a direct-hire role with our client based on performance and business needs

About the Role

Our client is seeking an IT Service Specialist to support the leadership team at its corporate office in Clayton. This is an end-user technology role with a high-visibility focus: white-glove support for senior leaders and executives, hands-on ownership of conference rooms, AV, and Microsoft Teams Rooms, and setup and support for executive meetings, training events, high-priority events, and large-scale virtual broadcasts.

The role reaches past the help desk. You’ll administer and monitor the Teams environment, run enterprise print services, and work with vendors and service providers to hold them to their service levels. If you’d rather be the person executives call by name than work a ticket queue anonymously, this is that role.

Presence matters here.

This role supports executives face to face, five days a week. Our client is looking for someone polished and business-savvy who is comfortable working with everyone from new hires to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver white-glove technology support to senior leaders and executives, with a focus on responsive service and a high-quality experience
  • Set up, prepare, and support Teams Rooms, audio/visual systems, executive meetings, training and high-priority events, and large-scale virtual broadcasts
  • Administer, configure, maintain, and monitor Microsoft Teams and Teams Town Hall in real time to identify and resolve performance and service issues
  • Configure, deploy, and manage enterprise print services, including secure print, managed print accounts, devices, and vendors
  • Support Windows administration, endpoint deployments, mobile devices, and system configuration
  • Work with service providers and vendors to establish effective processes, meet service level agreements, and drive continuous improvement
  • Track service delivery, end-user satisfaction, ticket resolution, and feedback trends; elevate critical issues to IT leadership
  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams on end-user education, knowledge sharing, and adoption of workplace technologies
  • Prepare support teams for upcoming IT projects, technology changes, and service initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or an equivalent international program); Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience in IT support, customer service, or a service-provider environment
  • Hands-on experience with AV equipment, conference room technology, and meeting or training-event setup
  • End-user technology support experience in a corporate office environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build working relationships at every level of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives
  • This role requires the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
Preferred
  • White-glove support for senior executives
  • Microsoft Teams administration, including Teams Rooms and Teams Town Hall or other large virtual events
  • Enterprise or managed print services experience
  • Experience managing vendors or service providers
Benefits (employee contribution)
  • Health insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Vision insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts
  • Life insurance
