Our client is actively seeking a IT Project Manager to work 100% remotely supporting their Chicago-based headquarters.

This is a 100% remote role supporting the Central Time Zone (CST)

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining strategic partnerships between business needs and technology delivery. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. They should be capable of addressing business and operational questions and collaborating across functional boundaries. Strong project management skills, strategic and analytical thinking, and a passion for innovation are essential.

This role involves working closely with the PMO team, business application owners, project sponsors, and stakeholders to understand needs, elicit requirements, plan, execute, and ensure timely project delivery and success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (10+ years may suffice)
• At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
• Experience managing multiple projects across departments
• Proficiency with Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies
• Knowledge of Agile requirements via user stories and epics
• Familiarity with software applications and design tools, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and reporting tools
• Understanding of technical design specifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, adaptable to different communication styles
