Stable10 is partnering with a manufacturing company in Onalaska, WI to recruit a hands-on IT Manager. You will lead a small IT team, oversee infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity, and work with leadership to improve the technology environment.

You will support office and production teams, plan upgrades, and manage external IT providers while maintaining strong links with manufacturing to minimize downtime and keep systems reliable.

This opportunity combines team leadership with responsibility for IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity. You will oversee daily IT operations, support office and production teams, and work with leadership to improve the technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small IT team, managing priorities and daily support.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and networks, ensuring reliable connectivity and system availability.
• Take a hands‑on approach to network administration, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Strengthen cybersecurity controls, including access management, patching, and backup and recovery processes.
• Support IT audits, maintain technical documentation, and address improvement actions.
• Manage external IT providers and develop more technical capability internally.
• Plan infrastructure upgrades and improvement projects, balancing business needs with available budgets.
• Work with manufacturing teams to minimize downtime and disruption to production.

Requirements

• Experience in IT management or a senior infrastructure role with team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands‑on networking, infrastructure, and troubleshooting skills.
• Practical cybersecurity experience and an understanding of IT risk and audit requirements.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage a team while remaining actively involved in technical work.
• Clear communication skills and a practical approach to maintaining existing infrastructure and delivering improvements.
• Available to work onsite five days per week.
