Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and tech-savvy Information Technology Intern to support our IT team in maintaining and enhancing technology systems that power critical energy operations. This internship offers hands‑on experience across infrastructure, cybersecurity, help desk support, and enterprise systems within a highly regulated industry.

This role is ideal for students interested in applying their technical knowledge in a real‑world, mission‑critical environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues (help desk tickets)
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Support user account management (Active Directory, password resets, access provisioning)
• Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives (phishing simulations, patching, endpoint protection)
• Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, cloud migrations, or infrastructure improvements
• Document processes, procedures, and technical configurations
• Support IT asset inventory and lifecycle management
