Information Technology Help Desk Technician

Our client located in Phoenix is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Helpdesk and IT Support Technician. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience in a help desk environment and proficiency with Windows OS, Apple OS, Apple iOS, and Android OS devices. The candidate should be highly detail-oriented and analytical, capable of accurately capturing customer interactions and closing IT trouble tickets promptly. This role is on-site, with one day of remote work per week after training.

Responsibilities for Help Desk Technician

• Manage and resolve IT Help Desk tickets efficiently
• Provide technical assistance for routine needs such as general computer use, password resets, printing, Microsoft O365 Apps, file backups, etc.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows, Apple, and Android devices
• Remotely troubleshoot hardware or software problems for internal customers
• Escalate issues to appropriate departments as needed
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software as required
• Update, add, and close user accounts in Office 365 and Active Directory
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved

Desired Qualifications for Help Desk Technician

• 1-2+ years of experience in an IT help desk or service desk environment
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, and WAN concepts
• CompTIA Tech+ Certification preferred
• Attention to detail for maintaining thorough ticket notes
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
