The Information Technology Specialist – Audio Visual (AV) & Helpdesk Support is responsible for providing technical support for end users while managing and maintaining the City’s audio-visual systems. This role ensures reliable operation of IT infrastructure, conference room technology, presentation systems, and end-user devices. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with hands‑on AV and IT troubleshooting experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading, and writing. The employee is also required to maintain physical condition necessary for operating assigned equipment, walking, standing, kneeling, repeated bending or sitting for prolonged periods of time and lifting to 50 pounds. Maintain mental capacity which allows the capability of making sound decisions demonstrating intellectual capabilities.
Office environment with occasional after-hours support for events or urgent issues. May require travel between company locations. Ability to climb ladders and work in ceilings or equipment racks when necessary.
