Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking an IT leader to drive tactical and strategic MIS objectives at the Chino operation in New Mexico.

You will direct supervisors, monitor services, and coordinate with multiple site departments to ensure quality and compliance. The role requires extensive experience in computer technology service delivery, strong leadership, and ability to manage budgets and staffing for a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
• Seven or more years of experience in a computer technology service delivery capacity.
• Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required, depending upon the department/site.

Responsibilities

• Execute and contribute to development of tactical and strategic goals, objectives, policies and procedures in assigned area within the business.
• Direct Supervisors and other staff in daily operations.
• Monitor operations, MIS services and projects in progress and upon completion to ensure quality of work.
• Provide administrative and technical direction to staff; interpret and implement policies and procedures.
• Oversee and recommend the selection of key staff; participate in the selection of staff.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field
