Information Systems Security Officer – Level 3

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the information assurance program of an organization, system, or enclave. This role involves contributing to the proposal, coordination, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and methodologies to protect critical systems and data.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the operational security posture of information systems, ensuring adherence to security policies, standards, and procedures.
2. Manage security aspects of information systems and perform daily security operations to mitigate threats.
3. Evaluate security solutions against security requirements for processing classified information.
4. Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments to support security authorization processes.
5. Manage configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
6. Assess security impacts of system changes and document modifications.
7. Prepare and review documentation such as SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
8. Support security authorization activities aligned with NIST RMF.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current Active TS/SCI with POLY
• Ten (10) years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or security authorization.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or four additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM I; certifications such as CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP.

Desired:

• Familiarity with Network Security Services and CISO processes.

The proposed salary range is: $109,800 - $241,600.
