As an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), you will be responsible for maintaining operational security postures and active security authorizations for projects/security plans (SPIDs). Your duties include creating and maintaining security artifacts such as Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs), ensuring control implementations meet Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements, conducting vulnerability assessments, managing POA&M resolution, and consulting on ICD 503 and RMF standards throughout the IT Systems lifecycle.
