Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) / Information Assurance to support a government consulting firm in Washington, D.C., for a % on-site opportunity. The ISSO is responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of the customer's critical systems.

Responsibilities of the ISSO :

1. Establish and maintain configuration management of documentation
2. Identify, assess, and document threats to designated systems
3. Conduct cybersecurity tests
4. Create, maintain, and train on disaster recovery and incident response plans
5. Contribute to metric collection
6. Contribute to process development within the functional area and where it connects to other operational processes

Qualifications of the ISSO :

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ISSO, with a background in information security, compliance, and government projects
2. Strong background in cybersecurity
3. Experience reviewing security concepts of operations, systems security plans, security control assessments, contingency plans, configuration management plans, incident response plans, vulnerability scanning, and vulnerability management plans
4. 2+ years of experience with ICD-, JSIG, RMF, NIST, FIPS, CNSSI 3, Nessus, A&A
5. Bachelor’s Degree
6. Active Top Secret Clearance required

Compensation for the ISSO :
