The Opportunity

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience in system security engineering to help our country and assist our clients with critical missions? As a systems security and network security engineer, you will identify the information system security engineering needs to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solutions and security strategies. Your experience will help lead the development and implementation of security solutions that protect our military. You will troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges using your knowledge of network and security devices, applications, and tools. Your curiosity for technology and market trends will drive research and development of security solutions. You will assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls, impacting the DoD by protecting its infrastructure. We focus on team growth through mentoring, hands-on problem-solving, and learning new tools and skills.

What You'll Work On

1. Develop relationships and communicate security complexities to diverse audiences, including senior management.
2. Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including detection, vulnerability capabilities, and event correlation in large enterprises.
3. Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application areas.
4. Leverage big data analytics to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have

• 6+ years of experience in an ISSE, ISSO, or IT role focusing on Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Experience leading PAM implementations, creating policies, procedures, standards, and deploying infrastructure components.
• Experience defining least privilege access controls and developing RBAC policies.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation.
• Experience with PAM solutions like CyberArk, Thycotic, and BeyondTrust.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.

Nice If You Have

• Experience with DoD architecture, strategic planning, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience providing technical support and training on PAM solutions.
• Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community cybersecurity policies, Zero Trust principles, and effective communication skills.
