UAIR is seeking an experienced AWS cloud architect to oversee the aggressive modernization of the university’s data infrastructure. In this role you will lead the strategic execution of moving our data infrastructure from an on-premise Oracle warehouse to a modern, secure, and scalable AWS cloud environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to build a cloud foundation from the ground up and support the university in moving into a forward-looking AWS architecture.
Like many areas at the University of Utah, our office is a hybrid work environment and requires residence in the state of Utah with the ability to work from campus 3 days per week. More details can be discussed in an interview. Our office is not currently able to support individuals seeking sponsorship for visa—living in and working from the Utah is a requirement.
Job Responsibilities:
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
