Qualifications

Job description

Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary

Assist in the development of cemetery management software, maintenance of hardware and provide technical assistance to our staff.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of cemetery operations
  • Assist with the development, integration and maintenance of cemetery management software
  • Maintain hardware/software inventory, upgrade hardware/software and licensing
  • Provide IT assistance to staff
  • Train end-users on hardware functionality and software programs
  • Resolve logged errors through in-house help desk in a timely manner
  • Work with department manager to ensure proper coordination of activities
  • Liaise with Archdiocesan Director of Information Technology and his team, vendors and employees
  • Ensure conformity to Archdiocesan IT protocols
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends in software development and IT
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, information technology or similar discipline; or, equivalent professional experience
  • At least ten years of industry experience and in-depth knowledge of software development with emphasis on end-user interaction
  • Experience with Claris/FilemakerPro, MacOS, Java Script, SQL and UI/UX a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of database design and maintenance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
