Innova Solutions is actively seeking a CipherTrust Security Engineer for a Columbus, OH contract role. The candidate will operate in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) focusing on cryptographic protocols, HSMs, and modern data protection technologies.

The ideal candidate has hands-on information security engineering experience, CipherTrust product knowledge, and strong scripting/automation skills across Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Ansible to harden and secure enterprise

Formación

• Security engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or military experience.
• Experience with Thales CipherTrust Key Manager and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE).
• Scripting/automation with Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, VBScript, or JavaScript.
• Unix/Linux/Windows systems administration with OS hardening and tuning knowledge.
• Experience with encryption or tokenization technologies.
• Experience building, administering, or supporting hardware security modules or security appliances.
• Advanced knowledge of cryptographic protocols and algorithms.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a CipherTrust Security Engineer, Position type: Contract (12+ months) Location: Columbus, OH Hybrid Onsite (3 days onsite, 2 days remote in a week)

Responsibilities

• Have hands-on security engineer with deep expertise in cryptographic protocols, HSMs, and modern data protection technologies, who thrives in complex, large-scale environments.
• Work across Linux, Windows, and automation frameworks to harden systems, optimize performance, and drive secure architecture forward-while partnering with engineering and operations teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.
• Passionate about encryption, key management, and solving sophisticated security challenges in a fast-paced enterprise setting, this is a role where your expertise will directly shape the organization's security posture.

The Ideal Candidate

• Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Experience with Thales CipherTrust Key Manager and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE).
• Intermediate to advanced level experience with scripting/automation using tools such as: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, VBScript, or JavaScript, UI path, etc.
• Unix/Linux/Windows Systems Administration experience with in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, OS hardening and OS tuning.
• Experience with encryption or tokenization technologies.
• Experience performing builds, administration and/or support of hardware security modules or security appliance devices.
• Advanced Knowledge of Cryptographic protocols & algorithms.
• Knowledge and understanding of Cryptographic Technologies and Key Management

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: Between $69 - $74 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
