Job summary

Five Star Bank seeks an Information Security professional to document security measures, manage access reviews, and support the bank's security program. You will work closely with the Director of Information Security to evaluate, monitor, and enhance controls and coverage of security operations.

The role covers implementing security controls, maintaining procedures, and coordinating with IT and business partners.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in a related information security role.
• In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations and banking practices.
• Attention to detail with thoroughness and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage time effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with business partners to meet objectives.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, M365, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, review, and document security alerts and reports.
• Prepare materials for IT governance committees.
• Install, configure, and administer security applications.
• Oversee and manage Use Access Review processes.
• Document security breaches or incidents.
• Manage vulnerability scans and patching of internal systems.
• Review vendor security documentation and coordinate remediation.
• Manage Information Security Awareness Training.
• Investigate and triage malicious emails.
• Maintain Information Security procedures.
• Research security enhancements with the Director.
• Stay current on security trends and standards.
• Collaborate with IT support when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
