Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Security Operations/Intelligence Associate to help implement and enforce security controls across the enterprise. You will work with the VP to oversee policies, risk assessments, audits, and incident response, contributing to a strong security posture.

The role requires a 2+ year IT security background, preferred banking experience and relevant certifications, with a focus on data protection and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering, Cybersecurity or Info Systems (or equivalent).
• Experience in IT with focus on Data Security (minimum 2 years).
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP preferred.
• Knowledge of data security concepts and threat vectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist VP-Security Operations/Intelligence Manager in providing comprehensive security coverage for the Bank.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures and best practices.
• Identify and assess external and internal risks via risk assessments.
• Support Internal Audit requests including review and remediation of findings.
• Assist OCC during IT examinations as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process and IT improvements for security.
• Administer and report on phishing and cybersecurity awareness training.
• Enforce technology compliance policies for enterprise systems.
• Investigate incidents related to data loss or exposure of data.
• Perform access control reviews of information and systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
