Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Data Security Analyst to join the incident response team, enforcing FFIEC-aligned information security and protecting data integrity and confidentiality. The role focuses on monitoring security controls, guiding policy, and supporting audits.

You will oversee risk assessments, respond to data loss incidents, and collaborate with IT, Risk, and Audit to raise security standards across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Information technology role with a focus on Data Security.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH or CISSP are preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of security industry best practices and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Assists the VP-Security Operations/Intelligence Manager in providing comprehensive security coverage for the Bank.
• Develops and implements policies, procedures, and best practices to protect information assets.
• Identify and assess external and internal risks through technology risk assessments.
• Support Internal Audit reviews, remediation, and OCC responses during IT examinations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in availability and security of information.
• Administer and report on enterprise Phishing and Cybersecurity awareness training platform.
• Assess and enforce technology compliance policies for all enterprise systems.
• Investigate incidents pertaining to data loss or exposure of data.
• Perform access control reviews of information and information systems.
