Nightwing seeks a full-time Information Review and Release Analyst (full-performance level) in the Herndon, VA area to support a dynamic Intelligence Community component, offering a flexible work schedule. The position involves reviewing and thoroughly researching requests for the release of information in accordance with EO 13526, FOIA, and/or Privacy Act (PA). Requests are submitted by the public, Presidential Libraries, or received via referrals from other agencies.
The analyst serves as a Case Manager for the Public Interest Review Team (PIRT), managing requests from receipt to documentation, research, and review. They collaborate with other government agencies to make release decisions, applying critical-thinking skills and utilizing various systems and tools to ensure accuracy. The role requires excellent time management, collaboration, high-quality work, and flexibility for ad hoc duties. Creativity in process improvement is encouraged.
