Job summary

Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation is seeking an Information & Referral Specialist for the Well Badger Resource Center to help individuals access health and social services across Wisconsin.

You will assess needs, research resources, provide education, and document interactions in Salesforce, collaborating with partners. This hourly role requires compassion, curiosity, and strong communication, with CRS certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in health, human services, social services, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in patient care, case management, information & referral, or related field.
• Ability to work set hours Monday through Friday during Well Badger hours.
• Certification as Resource Specialist (CRS) within 12 months of hire (training paid by WWHF).
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred for effective outreach.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized information and referral support via phone, text, email, chat, and other channels.
• Assess client needs, educate options, and help access available resources.
• Research health and social service resources using the Well Badger Online Directory.
• Assist clients in understanding options and taking next steps to connect with services.
• Communicate with providers to gather information and support referrals.
• Follow up with individuals to confirm access and offer further referrals.
• Document interactions in Salesforce and other systems accurately and timely.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and outreach events as needed.
• Support the Resource Management team with directory updates and resource verification.
