Job summary

Springwell in Massachusetts is seeking Information and Referral Specialists to assist older adults, family caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. You will provide accurate, unbiased information over the phone, via email, and in person, connecting callers to internal Springwell programs and external resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and social service experience preferred with older adults, individuals with disabilities, or customer support.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and navigate internal computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changes, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assess caller's needs and research options to provide accurate information.
• Collaborate with Springwell colleagues to meet resource needs.
• Maintain and create informational materials for staff, partners, and consumers.
• Update provider records in the internal resource database and research new providers.
