Newsletter Jobs is seeking a CDRR Communications Lead in New York, NY, hybrid. You will lead internal communications for Cyber, Data, Risk & Resilience, turning complex topics into clear messages for employees and leaders.

This hands-on role covers planning, content development, stakeholder reviews, approvals, distribution, and follow-up, with collaboration across senior leaders and corporate teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in internal, executive, technology, or change communications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and editorial judgment.
  • Experience communicating complex technology, cybersecurity, risk, data, or regulatory topics.
  • Strong stakeholder management in a large, global organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple communications deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with senior executives and high-visibility communications.
  • Strong MS Office/M365 skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and Copilot.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communications plans, editorial calendars, campaigns, newsletters, and executive messaging.
  • Draft and edit executive communications, leadership memos, organizational announcements, newsletters, alerts, intranet content, and campaign materials.
  • Translate cybersecurity, data, risk, and resilience topics into clear messages.
  • Manage the complete communications lifecycle: intake → drafting → editing → reviews → approvals → distribution → archiving.
  • Support major cyber/risk awareness campaigns and firmwide initiatives.
  • Coordinate with senior leaders, SMEs, Technology Communications, Corporate Communications, and Creative Services.
  • Support open forums, town halls, and employee engagement programs.
  • Maintain editorial standards, templates, calendars, approval records, and repositories.
  • Perform quality control including proofreading, fact-checking, links, and distribution lists.
  • Track engagement metrics and improve future campaigns using results.
  • Leverage AI, automation, M365 Copilot, and agent-based tools to improve workflows.

CDRR Communications Lead – Cyber, Data, Risk & Resilience

Location: New York, NY / Hybrid

Job Summary

The CDRR Communications Lead will lead internal communications for Cyber, Data, Risk & Resilience (CDRR), a global technology organization covering cybersecurity, data, technology risk, fraud, resilience, and nonfinancial risk.

This is a hands-on, high-execution communications role focused on turning complex technology, cyber, and risk topics into clear, engaging communications for employees, senior leaders, and stakeholders.

The role owns communications end-to-end—from planning and content development through stakeholder review, approvals, distribution, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communications plans, editorial calendars, campaigns, newsletters, and executive messaging.
  • Draft and edit executive communications, leadership memos, organizational announcements, newsletters, alerts, intranet content, and campaign materials.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity, technology risk, data, fraud, and resilience topics into clear, actionable messages.

  • Support CDRR Open Forums, town halls, employee engagement programs, and leadership events.
  • Maintain editorial standards, templates, communication calendars, approval records, and repositories.
  • Perform detailed quality control including proofreading, fact-checking, links, distribution lists, sender validation, and version control.
  • Track communication engagement metrics and use results to improve future campaigns.
  • Leverage AI, automation, M365 Copilot, and agent-based tools to improve communications workflows.
Required Background
  • Strong experience in internal, executive, technology, or change communications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and editorial judgment.
  • Experience communicating complex technology, cybersecurity, risk, data, or regulatory topics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in a large, matrixed, global organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple communications deliverables simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with senior executives and sensitive/high-visibility communications.
  • Strong Microsoft Office/M365 skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and Copilot.
  • Financial services, technology, cybersecurity, risk, or other highly controlled-environment experience is preferred.
