Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an Informatics Nurse Specialist with Epic expertise for a 2-month contract (W2, hourly). The role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL, but candidates must reside in the continental US and be prepared for a fully onsite arrangement.

The ideal candidate will review Epic change requests with the informatics team and clinical practices, coordinate testing and production rollout, and ensure workflows align with clinical care delivery.

Qualifications

• Epic certification or proficiency in at least one Epic module (Inpatient Clin Doc, Ambulatory documentation, Orders).
• Clinical experience to understand and assist with clinical workflow reviews for Epic solutions.
• Familiarity with TEAMS and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review requests in Epic with the informatics team and clinical practice proponents.
• Submit requests, follow approvals, coordinate with builders, test and production rollout.
• Review existing workflows and implement changes affecting downstream processes.

Role: Informatics Nurse Specialist - Epic

Length: 2 month contract, W2 hourly

Location: Remote

Description says on-site in Jacksonville, but this role is 100%

Candidates must reside in continental US

Overview/Responsibilities:

Interact with the informatics team and directly with clinical practice proponents to review requested items in Epic. Change requests are submitted by practice proponents to fill a need they have or solve a problem. The change request requires review to determine the best course of action, is what the request is asking the best solution, is it feasible, and what are the downstream implications. Submit the request, follow the approval process, work with the builder when assigned to answer questions, testing and follow through to production. Review existing workflow when working on a chance request to ensure the workflow is correct and make changes if will be affected by the change.

Requirements:

• Epic certification or proficiency in at least one application: Inpatient Clin Doc, Ambulatory documentation, orders. (Prefer multiple)

• Clinical experience and knowledge to understand and assist with clinical workflow reviews when reviewing requests from clinical practices for solutions in Epic.

• Familiarity with TEAMS and Microsoft outlook

Preferred:

• ServiceNow experience

• ClickUp experience

Education:

Master's degree in Nursing (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (requried)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $112.00/hr.
