Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing, PA, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical experience using Epic EHR.
• Ability to obtain Physician Builder Certification in Epic within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Develops deep knowledge of the EHR, workflows, and connected technology.
• Teach complex concepts and new technology to clinicians.
• Standardize onboarding and training of new providers.
• Primary liaison to frontline teams regarding EMR optimization.
• Collaborate with clinicians to improve patient outcomes and efficiency.
• Research best practices and inform operational plans.
• Oversee EMR use audits to ensure proper onboarding and training.
• Support quality committees in defining standard of care.
• Coordinate and lead educational opportunities for VHS teams.
• Troubleshoot problems and prioritize projects with IT staff.
• Participate in physician office site walkthroughs to assess hardware needs.
