Job summary

Mercy seeks an Informatics Analyst to provide clinical care expertise related to the EHR Program. The role will split time between onsite Mercy Clinics Southeast (Cape Girardeau) and Mercy Clinics Stoddard (Dexter), with occasional travel.

The analyst will support end users and participate in the development and implementation of automated clinical processes. Responsibilities include evaluating new technologies to streamline documentation, promoting improvements, and offering end-user training

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare field or equivalent with EHR experience.
• Two years of relevant technical or business experience.
• Preferred Epic EHR experience.
• Experience with data analytics and data management for systems evaluation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Primary Function

• Provides institutional expertise in the delivery of clinical care as it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program
• Evaluates and promotes new technologies with a focus on streamlining clinical documentation and assessment processes.
• Participates in the development and advanced implementation support of automated clinical processes.
• Provides at the elbow and other end user support for all end users of the EHR.

Position Details

This position provides regular onsite/in-person support to Mercy Clinics Southeast (Cape Girardeau, MO) and Mercy Clinics Stoddard (Dexter, MO). Occasional out of town travel is required.

About the Role

Qualification(s)

• Education: Associate's degree in healthcare field, specialized training or equivalent work experience with electronic health record.
• Experience: Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
• Preferred previous experience with Epic EHR.
• Preferred experience with data analytics, data management associated with systems evaluation, preferred experience in medical policy documentation, experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
• Experience with business applications.
