Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Informatics Analyst to provide regular onsite support for EHR initiatives across Mercy Clinics Southeast (Cape Girardeau, MO) and Mercy Clinics Stoddard (Dexter, MO). The role involves evaluating new technologies to streamline documentation and supporting automated clinical processes with end users of the EHR.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in healthcare, 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with Epic EHR.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's degree in healthcare field, specialized training or equivalent work experience with electronic health record.
Experience: Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
Preferred: Epic EHR exposure; data analytics and data management experience; familiarity with medical policy documentation; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Provides institutional expertise in the delivery of clinical care as it relates to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program.
Evaluates and promotes new technologies with a focus on streamlining clinical documentation and assessment processes.
Participates in the development and advanced implementation support of automated clinical processes.
Provides at the elbow and other end user support for all end users of the EHR.
