Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. seeks an experienced Information Services Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for the Senior Health Storefronts and related online applications.

You will balance stability of existing platforms with delivering new capabilities, partnering with UX, expanding APIs, and modernizing architecture while ensuring SDLC and regulatory compliance. This is a remote role with periodic in-person planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information systems or technology leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading a team across a diverse technology landscape including front-end, APIs, and cloud technologies.
• Background supporting large-scale operational systems in regulated or complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Delivering new product offerings and capabilities.
• Partnering with UX to improve consumer and producer experience.
• Expanding and externalizing APIs for third parties.
• Continuing to modernize storefront technology and architecture.
• Building strong partnerships across business and technology teams.
• Ensuring SDLC, incident, problem, change, and audit standards with financial stewardship.
• Applying organizational change management to guide teams through transformation and champion Agile and SAFe principles.
• Managing vendors and external partners through effective statements of work, cost controls, and performance metrics.
