Job summary

Byte Systems, a subsidiary of VTG, seeks an Information Review and Release Analyst (full-performance level) in Herndon, VA. The role involves reviewing and redacting information requests under FOIA, Privacy Act, and EOMDR programs, and coordinating with public and IC stakeholders.

You will serve as Analyst/Case Manager for the Public Interest Review Team, build case documentation, apply critical thinking, and collaborate across offices to deliver accurate release decisions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Minimum 1 year of experience reviewing and redacting classified information.
• Experience in roles requiring analytical skills.
• Familiarity with FOIA, PA, and EOMDR programs and EO 13526.

Responsibilities

• Review and redact equities in classified documents per SOPs.
• Create case documentation from receipt to release decisions.
• Collaborate across offices to implement process improvements.
• Coordinate with scanning and search teams for data retrieval.
• Manage workload with an eight-hour shift and potential surge hours.
