Job summary

Byte Systems, a subsidiary of VTG, seeks a Senior Information Review and Release Analyst in the Fort Meade, MD area to conduct first-level review of classified information and determine redactions in alignment with EO 13526, FOIA and the Privacy Act.

The role requires strong critical-thinking, thorough research of documents, and the ability to justify release decisions, including identifying OGA equities and coordinating with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing classified documents and making redaction/release recommendations.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly required on day one.
• Knowledge of IC/DoD policies and classification regulations.

Responsibilities

• Research documents to determine substance and context.
• Perform first-level review and apply EO 13526, FOIA and PA redactions.
• Provide rationale for redactions and release recommendations.
• Record decisions in the appropriate system and reference prior release decisions.
• Identify Other Government Agency equities and coordinate as needed.
