Job summary

Eastern Airlines LLC in Greensboro, NC, is seeking an Inflight Services Director for a full-time, on-site role. You will oversee the inflight management team, ensure safety and reliability, and meet customer experience expectations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with FAA and DOD, maintaining training programs and manuals, and leading recruitment and development of inflight personnel. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience (aviation preferred).
• At least 3 years of Flight Attendant experience.
• At least 3 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and CFRs.
• Current U.S. Passport valid for at least 6 months and international travel docs.
• Must pass DOT drug test, background checks, and CHRC.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe conduct of all inflight personnel per company and FAA requirements.
• Serve as primary FAA contact for inflight and cabin service matters.
• Coordinate formal correspondence between the FAA, DOD, and Company leadership.
• Ensure competence and currency of all Flight Attendants, Supervisors, and Instructors.
• Maintain content, currency, and quality of inflight operations manuals.
• Establish and modify policies for inflight manuals.
• Participate in Flight Attendant recruitment with People Services.
• Oversee training programs and curriculum for inflight personnel.
• Ensure compliance with CFRs and company policies.
• Maintain training program certifications and records.
• Participate in safety and compliance duties per the Safety and Regulatory Compliance Manual.
• Monitor staffing levels based on operational needs.
• Resolve scheduling disputes with Crew Scheduling and Flight Attendants.
• Audit training materials for regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Cabin Crewmember Checks and Qualifications processes.
• Manage the Inflight Team with empathy and accountability.
• Coordinate with People Services on personnel actions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
