Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the Inflammation portfolio in the Pacific Northwest, covering WA, OR, MT, ID, and WY. This field-based role will engage with pulmonology, allergy, ENT, and GI providers, communicating scientific data and advancing our therapeutic platform.

You will travel 60-70% of the time, collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, and support research activities while ensuring scientific exchange meets compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Masters with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in Respiratory or Inflammation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Opinion Leaders, community healthcare providers, and Population Health Decision Makers to discuss and advance the scientific platform.
• Travel 60-70% of the time for territory management and provider engagement.
• Support and implement company scientific and product strategy as directed by MSL leadership.
• Lead and participate in congress activities and speaker training when requested.
• Provide field observations to inform Amgen strategies and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliant scientific exchange and maintain up-to-date clinical/scientific knowledge.
